Châteaumeillant
Located near the border between the Berry and the Bourbonnais, at the foot of the first heights of the Haute Marche, the vineyard enjoys a climate that remains predominantly oceanic, with winters that are still quite mild. A châteaumeillant is a red or rosé wine with a controlled designation of origin produced around Châteaumeillant, on the border between the Cher and the Indre. We highly recommend a visit to this lovely part of France and to try sample the wine.

Maison George Sand-Nohant
Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin de Francueil, known as George Sand, was a French novelist, memoirist, and journalist. A leading figure of European Romanticism, she was even more popular in Britain in the 1830s–40s than Victor Hugo and Honoré de Balzac. She spent much of her childhood at her grandmother’s home in Nohant, in the Berry region of France—today preserved as Maison de George Sand, which visitors can explore.

Fresselines
Fresselines is a picturesque village situated where the Petite Creuse and Grande Creuse rivers meet. The village is famous for its dramatic landscapes, which inspired many artists of the renowned Crozant School. The Impressionist painter Claude Monet stayed in Fresselines for nearly three months in 1889.
Oradour- Sur- Glane
Oradour-sur-Glane is one of France’s most important memorial sites. The village was destroyed on 10 June 1944 when 643 inhabitants were massacred by a German SS unit during the Second World War. Preserved exactly as it was left after the tragedy, the ruined village serves as a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and the importance of peace. A visit to Oradour-sur-Glane offers a moving and unforgettable experience, combining historical reflection with a tribute to the victims.
